Sheriff Johnson implemented the procedure known as VINE (Victim Information Notification Everyday), whereby the offender’s location can be revealed to the victim. Sheriff Johnson’s outstanding work has been acknowledged with awards from both civic and business organizations. Her office was recently awarded a grant of $169,000.00 to update equipment to enhance courthouse security.
